If you turned off tonight's Red Sox game in the eight inning—with Boston down 4-0—you can be forgiven. What were the odds that
The Olde Towne Team would score 3 in the 8th and 2 in the 9th to
win, 5-4? Pretty good odds, apparently.
Brock "Babe" Holt capped the rally with a walk-off single, scoring pinch-hitter
Daniel Nava with the game-winner. New All-Star
Koji Uehara got the win with a scoreless ninth. So, Boston beats ChiSox ace
Chris Sale and moves to 11 games under .500. But perhaps the most memorable image of the night was
Jackie Bradley, Jr.'s full-extension, flying catch of a screeching liner to right center. One of the best catches
ever by a Red Sox center fielder. Signs and wonders.
