Red Sox ace
Jon Lester and his wife
Farrah hosted a gala event last night at Boston's House of Blues to benefit their
NVRQT charity. Proceeds from the event go to the
Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF)—an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to funding leading-edge research on pediatric cancer. A bevy of local celebrities attended—including the following Red Sox players:
David Ortiz,
Dustin Pedroia,
John Lackey,
Will Middlebrooks,
Jonny Gomes,
Brock Holt,
David Ross,
Craig Breslow,
Andrew Miller,
Koji Uehara,
Jackie Bradley, Jr. and
Mookie Betts. Also on hand were former NESN reporter
Jenny Dell, New England Patriots players
Julian Edelman and
Dominique Easley, Red Sox legend
Luis Tiant and Olympic Gold medalist

"Never Quit") charity supports children in their battle against cancer and seeks to inspire researchers working to cure the disease. You can support Jon's
