Red Sox Hitting Coach Greg Colbrunn is recovering from a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage and has a good prognosis for full recovery. Colbrunn suffered the attack before Wednesday's game in Cleveland. He is being treated at The Cleveland Clinic—one of the world's foremost medical facilities. Said GM Ben Cherington"Everything we've heard is that there's a very optimistic prognosis and that he's doing well." Boston promoted minor league hitting coordinator Tim Hyers, who will work with assistant hitting coach Victor Rodriguez until Colbrunn can return. We wish Greg a speedy recovery!
