Good news, Nation. As expected,
Dustin Pedroia will be back in the lineup today for the Red Sox. Both initial x-rays (or
fluoroscopes as
John Farrell quaintly calls them) and subsequent MRIs were negative. In addition, Milton's
Alex Hassan will make his major league debut today in right field. The Red Sox send
Jon Lester to the mound in the final game of the Rays series. He will be opposed by former Boston hurler
Erik Bedard.
