Here we go again.
John Henry and his
Plaything Across The Pond are back to screw up the "pitch" at Fenway Park. Henry's
Liverpool FC soccer team (which is in the process of blowing a golden opportunity to win the EPL for the first time in a generation)
will come to Boston to play AS Roma sometime in July (do you
really care when?). Apparently, there's some mystical significance to these two clubs meeting again at Fenway (they had a "fixture" in 2012)—but we sure can't fathom what that significance might be. Can we just play
baseball at Fenway, please?
