Buck Showalter today spoke of the implications of playing at Fenway Park on
Patriots' Day 2014—a year after the Boston Marathon bombings. Said the O's skipper,
"I think this year, especially with what that day means to our country, to Boston, and to everybody in particular, I think it’s an honor to be there for that." From this year forward, the Red Sox announced they will wear the special "Boston" home jersey (in place of "Red Sox") on Patriots' Day.
