President Can't Pronounce, But Appoints Napoli

(White House Photo)
Perhaps in an attempt to cover-up his botched pronunciation of Mike Napoli's name ("Na-Pole-ee"), President Barack Obama appointed the Red Sox first baseman to his mock "Presidential Council On Beards". The White House blog describes the council as follows: "Finding inspiration from today's visit by the renowned beard enthusiasts from the 2013 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox, the President has pulled together an experienced, enthusiastic, and hairy team of council members to advise him on issues related to beard growth, health, and styles." Uh-huh. Too bad 'America's Number One Baseball Fan' (remember 'Cominskey Park?') isn't familiar enough with the Champs.
