Brock Holt just came up from AAA, but he's already made an impact on the previously lethargic Red Sox offense. Holt went 1-3 with an RBI triple that broke a 2-2 tie and helped send Boston to
a 4-2 win over Baltimore.
David Ortiz had tied the game with his third HR of the year just to the left of the
Pesky Pole, and
Felix Doubront overcame early wildness to settle down for 6 2/3 innings of 2-run ball. Boston moved to 8-10 on the young season in what is shaping up to be a clustered and competitive AL East.
