According to the recounting of court records by
The Boston Herald,
Jared Remy allegedly assaulted a fellow inmate with "a plastic chair, scalding liquid and a bar of soap". The attack occurred while both were behind bars at the Cambridge jail. Remy will be arraigned on April 24th on
"eight felony counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one misdemeanor count of assault and battery." The 35-year old is the son of Red Sox legend
Jerry Remy.
