At this pace,
Jon Lester could win the
2014 Cy Young Award without a single victory. Lester lost his second good start of the year, as his mates failed to tally at all in
4-0 loss to the
Mighty Milwaukee Brewers. Boston had nine hits today, but—in what is becoming a 2014 theme—could not push across any runs. Only two of their nine safeties were of the extra base variety and the team just looks lethargic during this homestand. Maybe it's all the pomp and circumstance—or maybe they're just not that good. We expect a
little better winning percentage than .333.
