Today has got to be tough for
Jackie Bradley, Jr. Virtually assured the starting center fielder role with the departure of
Jacoby Ellsbury,
a phantom named Grady Sizemore swooped in and took his job away. Of course, hitting .158 on the Spring didn't help Bradley's cause, but that doesn't take the sting out of another trip to Pawtucket. Said Bradley,
"It’s humbling. I’ve always known that, though. I don’t really get too caught up in the highs, I don’t get too caught up in the lows. I try to stay in the happy medium. It all evens out." There will come a time—not too far away—when it will JBJ's time to shine.
