The Red Sox announced today that
they have cut twelve players from their major league camp. The twelve are:
Anthony Ranaudo,
Alex Wilson,
Garin Cecchini,
Bryce Brentz,
Alex Hassan,
Matt Barnes,
Miguel Celestino,
Noe Ramirez,
Henry Owens,
Blake Swihart,
Heiker Meneses and
Travis Shaw. There are now 46 players remaining in the major league camp—35 of whom are on the 40-man roster along with 11 non-roster invites.
