Multiple reports suggest that Red Sox outfielder
Shane Victorino may give up switch-hitting and just bat right-handed 100% of the time. Last year, after a mid-season injury affected his left-handed hitting, Victorino pretty much hit righty through the World Series. Victorino is being eased into Spring Training—as the Red Sox try to build up strength in his "core" to help ward off further injury to the devil-may-care right fielder.
