Well, the 'minor injury' cover-up is over. According the

Jake Peavy's fishing knife incident "cut through a tendon, resulted in some nerve damage and required surgery". Wonderful. The laceration of his left index finger will clearly have an impact on Peavy's overall readiness. Of course, the charade continues, as the team insists this isn’t
