Jake Peavy will start for the Red Sox today for the first time since lacerating his left index finger. During the recovery, the team has been careful about not allowing the wound to be overly sweat-saturated and thus subject to infection. Peavy will get his start against the Twinkies (who else?), while Minnesota will send old nemesis (kind of)
Phil Hughes to the hill. Boston's line-up will be:
Daniel Nava, LF;
Shane Victorino, RF;
Dustin Pedroia, 2B;
David Ortiz, DH;
Mike Napoli, 1B;
A.J. Pierzynski, C;
Xander Bogaerts, SS;
Will Middlebrooks, 3B;
Jackie Bradley Jr., CF.
