Multiple sources are reporting that
the Red Sox and 2013 World Series MVP David Ortiz are "close to finalizing" a one-year, $15 million contract extension for the 2015 season. While the team is not confirming anything, it's pretty clear that the deed is done. Reportedly, Papi's agent,
Fernando Cuza, met with the team several times during Spring Training. Next up, a deal for
