He Who Will Be Booed On April 22nd |
As we all know, former Red Sox center fielder
Jacoby Ellsbury has a
long history of injury woes. To be fair, most were freak occurrences—like being hit by the freight train also known as
Adrian Beltre. But denizens of
The Evil Empire have got to be a little concerned when
a minor calf injury has ballooned into possibly missing Opening Day. According to Empire GM
Brian Cashman, the Yankees
"...think he will be ready [for Opening Day], as long as he's feeling good and he's healthy." Uh-huh. Looks like
Ichiro Suzuki in center.
