In an exclusive interview with Ken Rosenthal of
FOXSports.com,
Manny Ramirez says he has found God and is a new man. Said Ramirez,
"I started going to church, going to Bible study, getting into the Lord. I started reading more and listening to the Lord talking to me. It was awesome. I don't regret it. The Bible says, ‘What happens if a man accomplished everything in the world and loses his soul?'". He also admits to and regrets his past PED use,
"You're going to feel guilty about what you did. But you did it. You move on. And you learn from it." Ramirez—who will turn 42 in May—is looking for a job in major league baseball. He sees himself as another
Raul Ibanez—still contributing enough at an advanced age
and also being a role model to young players.
Manny a role model? He must have
really found God!
