Ben Cherington will punt on any
Stephen Drew signing—unless the free agent is willing to take a one-year deal where he fills in at multiple positions. Realistically,
John Farrell could not wait much longer to set up his plan for the infield. Clearly, the team is more than comfortable with
Will Middlebrooks at third and Bogaerts at short.
