Yoon Suk-min |
According to a TWEET by Hall of Fame baseball writer
Peter Gammons,
the Red Sox are one of at least three teams interested in Korean right-handed pitcher Yoon Suk-min. The 27-year old Yoon is currently with the Kia Tigers, but as an International Free Agent, he can sign with any MLB team for 2014. In his overall Korean career, he's 73-59 with a 3.19 ERA. Last year, however, he split time between starting and relieving due to a shoulder injury. As a result, he was 3-6 with a 4.00 ERA in 2013—pitching 87.2 innings in 30 games. In addition to the Red Sox, the Giants and Twins are in on Yoon.
