Jon Lester per year in any contract extension. As the chart shows, while a bare majority (50%) favor compensation in the $16-19 million range, four in ten would significantly boost Lester's
current $13 million salary into the $20-25 million bracket. No one would recommend committing to more than $25 million a year for the lefty, but a surprising one in ten readers would let him
