Forget all that
Weather Channel gobbledy-gook. You know, 'Polar Vortexes', 'Arctic Blasts' and 'ThunderSnow'? All you need to know about Winter in Boston is how many 'Pedroias' we got hit with in the latest snowstorm (which we
refuse to refer to as 'Hercules" as insisted upon by the WeatherGeeks). Thanks to
WGBH.org, we now know that the big New Year's Storm of 2014 measured exactly
.35 Pedroias (or 23.8 inches for you meteorological novices). Of course, this pales in comparison to last year's .46 Pedroias that buried the Hub in the Blizzard of 2013. In other news, the Equipment Truck leaves Fenway in just over 31 days.
