Arizona Fall League All-Star (and top Red Sox prospect)
Garin Cecchini helped the Surprise Saguaros to the AFL's West Division Title. Third-baseman Cecchini reached base five times (3-3, two BBs, RBI) in the clinching game. Said Cecchini:
"You always want to play in the playoffs. We have a great group of guys. It's one of the best teams I've ever played with." The AFL is primarily a player development league, but it looks like Cecchini is possessed of the same winning spirit as his
Bearded Brethren on the big club.
