In case you needed any more proof that
David Ortiz rules the city of Boston, consider this:
he finished third in Tuesday's mayoral election.
Ortiz was the leading write-in candidate behind second-place finisher John Connolly and the man who will occupy City Hall, Marty Walsh. While the
Boston Election Department will not disclose exactly how many votes Big Papi garnered, they
will say that he received more of the 560 write-in votes than anyone else. Once again, you can't make this stuff up.
