Jake Peavy has always been regarded as a "free spirit". He doubled down on that image by purchasing the green DuckBoat he and others rode in during Saturday's Rolling/Floating Championship Parade. Peavy
confirmed the rumor in a TWEET that evening. There's no word yet on what a DuckBoat actually
costs, but we're guessing he had to lay "down" some serious dough.
Jon Lester rode in the same DuckBoat, but it's unclear whether there may have been a bidding war for the bright green flotation device. We're sure Jake will find someplace to put the thing back at his Alabama homestead.
