The Red Sox will
open Fenway Park to fans on Wednesday to watch the team's workout in preparation for the
American League Division Series which starts on Friday. Fans will be admitted free of charge starting at 2PM tomorrow—with season ticket holders, students, children and Fenway neighbors getting prime seating. Said Sox President and CEO
Larry Lucchino:
"Inviting members of the Red Sox family—our season ticket holders, area students, children, and neighbors—to Fenway Park for this opportunity is a small way for us to thank them for their support this season. This is a special time and a special team, and we hope some in our community will be able to see our players in this casual, informal workout setting." Of course, concessions will be "available" to fans as well, so this is not
entirely an act of largess by the NOG.
