There's no denying that this 2013 edition of
The Carmine Hose has character—and not a few
characters. But among all the newcomers,
Jonny Gomes and
Mike Napoli have led the way in providing
visual character to the team—through their prolific beards. We've all been struggling with a nickname for this crew—
Idiots II,
Fear The Beards—but we've finally decided on
"The Smith Brothers". Those of you old enough to remember the renowned cough drop brand will recall the hirsute brothers on the classic box. We've tried to reproduce it here with Gomes and Napoli as the "brothers" in honor of our new moniker.
Kevin Millar would be proud.
