the Red Sox called up Will Middlebrooks from AAA Pawtucket and immediately inserted him into the lineup on Saturday in Kansas City. The presumed reason for the move was a
"Fenway Flu injury" to
Brandon Snyder—who was placed on the disabled list. Look for a similar move up of phenom
Xander Bogaerts before the rosters expand on September 1st.
