The absence of
Daniel Nava due to paternity leave has opened up a roster spot for the Red Sox. According to Joon Lee of
MLB Daily Dish, rookie hurler
Brandon Workman will be recalled to the big club in time for the 10-game, three-city road trip that starts tonight in Houston. The 24-year old righty is 1-1 in four appearances with the Red Sox this year—with an ERA of 3.54. He will work out of the bullpen (at least for the time being).
