Given their challenges in both the bullpen and in the starting rotation, it's no surprise that Boston is hard in on reliever
Francisco Rodriguez (K-Rod) and
starter
Jake Peavy. Multiple reports suggest that the Red Sox are
one of only two teams vying for Peavy (along with the Cardinals) and also
one of two on K-Rod (Dodgers). None of the reports indicate what exactly would be going back in return for these pitchers, but look for one or both of these moves shortly.
