The Red Sox today announced the finalized details of a contract extension for
Dustin Pedroia. The 2008 AL MVP signed an 8 year, $110 million extension—carrying him through the 2021 season. Pedroia—who was at the park for a Franklin Sports batting clinic as well—will finish his career as a member of the Carmine Hose. Like God intended. He's hitting .306 so far this year, making his fourth All-Star squad. Over his Boston career, his OBP is .371.
