The Editors of
FenwayNation have announced their choices for the 2013
'Best O' Nation' Media Awards. As the table shows, the
Providence Journal nabbed the top two awards this year: for
Best Sox Newspaper Coverage and for
Best Baseball Writer—
Tim Britton.
WEEI.com's
Alex Speier won the award for
Best Web Columnist.
Dave O'Brien of
WEEI/ESPN was again named the
Best Play-By-Play man, while the new category of
Best Substitute Color Analyst went to
Rob Bradford, who did the best job filling in for
Jerry Remy.
Best Local Sports Radio Personality went to
WEEI's
Michael Holley, who artfully endured the departure of one co-host and the arrival of another. Once again,
WBZ-TV's
Dan Roche was far and away the
Best Local TV Sports Anchor. Congratulations to the winners!
