The Red Sox appear
likely to place left-handed reliever Franklin Morlaes on the disabled list today with a strained pectoral muscle. He was injured in last Saturday's game against the Tigers. Reports also suggest that
Shane Victorino—who left the Sunday tilt with a bad back—will
not head back to the DL. The Red Sox open a homestand tonight in an inter-league contest with the Colordao Rockies—the team Morales was on in 2007 when they faced Boston in the World Series.
