John Lackey gave up the tying runs in the fifth in an otherwise brilliantly pitched game. Lackey went seven innings, giving up just those two runs and striking our five.
David Ortiz homered early and then gave Boston a 3-2 lead with a single in the top of the 8th. Bailey suffered his fourth blown save, while his ERA shot up to 4.03.
