Headed On The Road |
The last thing the Red Sox need to face at this point of the season is the pitching troika of
Matt Moore,
David Price and
Alex Cobb. Apparently,
Cy Young,
Bob Gibson and
Christy Matthewson were unavailable. As Boston limps onto the road after losing eight of their last ten, they will need to crank up their beleaguered offense against three of the toughest hurlers in the American League—two of them lefties. Amazingly, Price is the one struggling of late, but you can bet he will be no 'walk in the hermetically-sealed park'. Boston's nine-game road swing may determine whether the first month of the season was a miracle or a mirage—or maybe a little of both. Buckle up.
