Based on reader input (through our FN Poll) and the judgement of the FN Editorial Board,
Clay Buchholz has been named
FenwayNation's April Player Of The Month. In five April starts, Buchholz went 5-0 with a 1.19 ERA and a WHIP of 1.009. He pitched a total of 37 2/3 innings, giving up just 25 hits and only 5 runs. The righty struck out 39 while walking 13—a perfect 3 to 1 ratio. He's establishing himself as the ace of the staff. Congratulations, Clay!
