This walk-off stuff is starting to get contagious. After pulling off an extra-inning win on Saturday,
the Red Sox won this Patriots' Day matinee in the 9th, 3-2. After
Dustin Pedroia walked on a disputed ball four,
Mike Napoli went down and powered a pitch it off the wall, scoring the
Muddy Chicken all the way from first with the game-winner. Needless to say,
Laser Show never picked up the third base coach on his rumble home. On the hill,
Ryan Dempster delivered his third good outing—striking out ten in seven solid innings. After
Koji Uehara held things in the eight,
Andrew Bailey blew a ninth inning save, recovering to limit the damage. The Sox have now won all but one series in the young season.
