David Ortiz announced in an interview yesterday that he and his wife Tiffany Ortiz are filing for a divorce.
The Red Sox designated hitter spoke with
WEEI radio and
MLB.com. He asked for privacy surrounding the matter
and vowed that his personal life would not interfere with his play on
the field. The couple have been married for a decade and have three
children together—two daughters and a son.
