Still Not Back |
While
Stephen Drew is recovering well from concussion symptoms he suffered after being beaned,
he will not even resume workouts until Thursday at the earliest. Clearly, the new MLB rules surrounding concussions are a good thing, insuring (through testing and other methods) that a player is truly ready to return. Boston should use this period to more aggressively test
Jose Iglesias in game action—and not waste playing time on back-ups like
Pedro Ciricaco.
