Muddy Chicken Is Having Equipment Issues
According to the Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is having some problems with team-issued equipment. After dealing with game pants that had been patched over several times, he left them hanging on a staffer's desk with the following note, "I can get a pair of these at Dick’s Sporting Goods." Then, after difficulty finding a new style batting helmet that would fit him, he tried an alternate that was too small. He was asked whether his head was swelling—as happens with PED users. The Laser Show responded, "No way. My head keeps getting smaller. What’s that from? Rat poison?" Something tells us he's ready for the season.
