| Let The Era Begin! |
It took forever, but the Red Sox made it official today: Jackie Bradley, Jr. will be on the Opening Day 25-man roster. To make room for Bradley, infielder/DH Mauro Gomez was designated for assignment. Bradley will open the season in left field tomorrow against the Evil Ones. The soon-to-be 23-year old hit .419 this Spring with an on-base percentage of .507. Let's applaud the Red Sox front office for making the right decision. This could be the start of an epic career that we'll be talking about for years. Go get 'em, Jackie!
