Jonny Gomes suffered on Wednesday night is still worth
some mention. Amazingly, manager
John Farrell neglected to inform the media of the left-fielder's injury after Wednesday's game.
When trying to rob Chris Davis of a two-run homer, Gomes crashed into the fence, cutting his left knee. The gash required three stitches. Gomes is not expected to miss much action.
