With the number of medical fiascoes experienced by the Red Sox over the last few years,
you can forgive John Farrell for not knowing precisely who is getting MRIs and who is not. After he erroneously reported that
Jacoby Ellsbury had an
MRI on Tuesday, the team later corrected the manager by stating that
Shane Victorino had the MRI. Who even knew the
Flyin' Hawaiian was hurt?
Apparently not Farrell! Anyway, the report that Ellsbury's rolled ankle
showed up fine on the MRI is apparently bogus as well. No word on the results
of the
real MRI or Victorino's injured right wrist. You can't make this
stuff up, folks!
