Peter Abraham of the
Boston Globe suggests that—since
Michael Morse has joined the Mariners—their crowded outfield might
free up Mike Carp for the Red Sox. Carp would serve as a back-up first baseman and corner outfielder for the Carmine Hose. The 26-year old lefty has pedestrian offensive numbers so far in his 5-year career (.255/.327/.740). He does, however, have one of the coolest TWITTER handles in all of baseball:
