According to Jon Morosi of
FOX Sports,
Manny Ramirez is looking to return to Major League Baseball—despite his repeated violations of the league's drug policies. Apparently, Ramirez has clouted four home runs already in the Dominican Winter League post-season. Still considered by many to be the greatest right-handed hitter of his generation, Manny has so far compiled a .312 batting average and an OPS of .996. The 40-year old has also clouted 555 home runs over 19 seasons. Ramirez last played in the bigs on the Oakland A's, but he asked to be released on June 15th of last year.
