As the mainstream sports media in Boston is advising fans to "be patient" for the "the next great Red Sox team", the natives are getting a little restless. After punting on the re-signing of

outside chance of happening), and watching the Tigers sign
Torii Hunter, fans realize that Boston has few choices left to fill its
two vacant outfield spots. Now, we are being told that the ever-prudent BenCher is looking at the likes of
Jason Bay,
Nick Swisher and
Shane Victorino to man the Red Sox outfield. Yikes! Is this really going to energize the fan base to shell out for the highest ticket prices in baseball? We may be in for
