Hiroki Kuroda says he will listen to offers from other MLB teams and not simply return to the
Concrete Bunker On 161st Street. Reportedly,
one of these teams is the Red Sox. Kuroda's old MLB team (the Dodgers) is also expressing interest. Of course, there is always the additional possibility that the right-hander could return to pitch in his native Japan. In five seasons in the US, Kuroda is a .500 pitcher (57-57) with a 3.42 ERA. But, he has consistently struck out around 160 batters per year and has given up fewer hits (872) than innings pitched (918.2). He owns a WHIP of 1.182.
