Tony Pena Takes Early Lead In FN Manager Poll

Early results to our latest FenwayNation Poll indicate that former Red Sox catcher Tony Pena is the lead choice as the next Boston manager. As the chart shows, Pena tops the list of current realistic contenders with 31% of the vote, followed by former Red Sox pitching coach John Farrell (25%), New England native Brad Ausmus (22.6%), former Boston bench coach Demarlo Hale (13.1%) and Dodger bench coach Tim Wallach (8.3%). One person volunteered Jason Varitek as their choice—but he has made it clear he's not interested at this point. You can still vote in the poll HERE.
