REPORT: John Henry Involved In Farrell Talks

Still The Apple Of Henry's Eye?
As the Red Sox wrap up their interviews with the 'Team Back-Up' of managerial candidates, they apparently are still in hot pursuit of Toronto manager John Farrell. New reports suggest that discussions have moved up the food chain from Larry Lucchino to the Forbes List Billionaire himself, John Henry. ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes cites sources that claim Henry has recently kibbutzed with Jays CEO Paul Beeston about the former Red Sox pitching coach. Are the Sox jerking the collective chains of Wallach, Pena, Hale & Ausmus (boy, does that ever sound like a crooked law firm), or are they legitimately interested in one or two of them? Stay tuned.
