REPORT: Empire Touts A-Fraud Trade To Miami

The Fraudulent One
UPDATE: CASHMAN DENIES TRADE REPORT

Treat this story with the appropriate grain of salt. After all, it comes from Looney Tune Extraordinaire Keith Olbermann. According to Olbermann's MLB blog, the Yankees have had discussions with the Miami Marlins to unload Alex Rodriguez on the fish. Reportedly, the two options being discussed are: 1.) New York would pay all of the remaining $114 million on Rodriguez's contract—which has five years remaining; 2.) New York pays less of the remaining salary, and takes troubled closer Heath Bell back from Miami—along with the remainder of his $27 million, three-year deal. The Fraudulent One is 3-for-23 with twelve strikeouts so far this post-season.
